RENEWABLE CITIES - Appear to be “Clean” and “Well”

Burlington, Vermont (above) is the first city in the U.S. to run entirely on renewable energy.

As reported on www.ecowatch.com:

100% renewables: 43 cities are reported by EcoWatch including: Burlington, Vermont; Reykjavik, Iceland; and Basel, Switzerland; to be running on 100 percent renewables. They go on to mention in the article via link below, reporting that in the U.S. there is an estimated 58 cities and towns, including major metropolises like Atlanta and San Diego, who are rejecting fossil fuels and have announced plans to run entirely on clean energy. Their research, they explain, represents a measurable commitment around the world to operate cities differently when it comes to energy and its use.
