Why Exclusive C.A.R.E. executives selected this article:
Whoever would of thought that downsizing into rental and urban living would become the vocabulary of a baby boomer senior? Urban developers have taken note and are finding development opportunities to take advantage of what appears to be a downtown living trend by seniors. Yet, the affordable housing demand remains relevant and ever present to many large cities and communities across the U.S. The senior rental market has increased by percentage as has the need for affordable housing. Discussions are taking place amongst the housing specialists that perhaps smaller projects when compared to larger size projects, may be a more viable alternative in meeting the combined demands. Smaller unit counts conceivably take less land, time, and less monetary funding needs. So the discussion and argument carries on.
