During a recent read of an article on the ways that the travel industry has and continues to change, we expected to find at some place in our review on the topic a historic timeline not unlike one might find for the evolution of mankind. Not because travel and mankind have similar timelines, but due to all the changes taking place within the industry.

In the beginning we had the personalized service of a travel agent. You know, not persons in uniforms, but those persons who sat behind a desk looking all official and knowing. They worked to please their customer with an assortment of travel options related to places to see and how to get there on your dime. Fast forward we now have Blockchain; public reviews in real time; photo snaps in real time; and robotics to name a few.
